Artemis Acupuncture requires 24 hours notice for all appointment cancellations and rescheduling requests. Changes can be made online through our scheduling system up to 24 hours in advance.
Your appointment time is reserved for you, and our team works hard to prepare for your appointments and provide high-quality care. When you schedule an appointment with us, you are actively agreeing to our policy and acknowledging that if you cancel or no-show within 24 hours, you will be charged the full fee to the card on file.
We ask that you prepare for your appointments by contacting us well in advance if you need to make adjustments to your bookings. Our cancellation policy is in place to value the time and guarantee the income of our providers, and is non-negotiable. Thank you for understanding and complying with our policy.
Payment is due at time of service. Forms of payment accepted include: cash, checks, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express), and HSA/FSA cards. Please make checks payable to Artemis Acupuncture. There will be a $20 fee for any returned checks.

Artemis Acupuncture is a no-tipping establishment. If you feel inspired to show gratitude for your session financially, read below regarding our Pay-it-Forward program.
Artemis Acupuncture is not in-network with any health insurance companies, and we do not bill health insurance (auto and worker’s comp insurance we will bill) for services provided. If your insurance company covers acupuncture services, we are happy to provide you with a receipt (superbill) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
All services provided that will be submitted for out-of-network health insurance reimbursement with a superbill must be charged at the full and regular appointment fee. Superbills are not available for reduced rate, package rate, or discounted services if being submitted to health insurance.
Reduced rate services are available through purchasing packages. Speak with the acupuncturist if you are interested in a package rate.
The Pay-it-Forward Program funds reduced rate acupuncture appointments for those experiencing financial hardship and Black and Indigenous people and people of color.
To help us continue making reduced rate appointments available, patients who are feeling abundant can choose to add an optional financial offering to their appointment at the time of booking or payment.
All appointments include an optional Pay It Forward add-on contribution of $20, or a custom contribution. These funds go towards financially sponsoring reduced rate appointments.
